Walking Monty!

Hi Guys!

Here is my first walk exercise in maya!

Isn't it cute? ;)

I simply love 3D animation! :D

Second version with stamping feet!

Third version with graphical and phisical corrections!

Here is my last version of monty walking after George feedback, you can notice monty's feets heavily hitting the ground now!

Thank you,

Valeria

P.S. Thanks Chandani for the eye blink idea! :)

Squirrel!

Hi Guys!

Here is my moving squirrel, still not smooth enough, but even if I'm not very good in drawing it looks nice :)

Here is my second version of the squirrel improved! :)

Thank you everybody!

Valeria

Head Turn And Touching Toes!

Hi Guys!

Here is my stop-motion exercise with puppets (for the very first time!)
I have to admit that these puppets are creepy without eyelids...

Anyway... my turning head is a little bit jerky, when the touching toes exercise is smoother... I will try to improve it!

Thank you,

Valeria

Weight lifter!

Hi Guys!

I'm back!!

Here is my first weight lifter exercise on Flash that has problems with volume keeping and timing:

Here is the second version of my weight lifter guy (after Nick's advices), that is still a little bit too slow when it falls down, but I've improved volume keeping!

Here is the version where I tried to improve timing!

Thank you,

Valeria

Foxy!

Hi Guys!

here it's me again!

I'm uploading the first version of my jumping and hanging around fox.

I say it's the first because I will have the chance to have a look at some problems with tail and reendering during my reading week (that is next week)!

See you very soon!

Thank you,

Valeria
New reendering with moving camera!

New foxy with more jumping instead of sliding and a single camera as George suggested.

Thank you,

Valeria

Turning Hand!

Hi Guys!

This is my fresh turning hand digitally drawn on Toon Boom, I'm beginning to suffer of the God complex... I'm not sure this is a good thing...

Anyway I'm still to slow, but this is all new to me... silly thing ...I just need time :)

Thank you as always!

Valeria

This is the second version of the turning hand, corrected after Nicks feedback!
Looks good, right? :D

Thank you,

Valeria

3D Bouncing Ball!

Hi Guys,

Lot of works to show you tonight.

This is my first attempt on Maya 3D using the squash and stretch technique as it should be.
I think that I should consider about rendering this in a better way, but I really enjoy working with Maya.

I love the way the ball rotates: I find it has a nice touch of realism :)

What do you think about it?

Thank you,

Valeria

New rendering!!

Here is my bouncing ball after George's feedback, I've added some shades!

Thank you,

Valeria

Cow and Pool storyboard!

Hi again Guys!

This is my first storyboard attempt. Basically these are two objects moving in different directions and at different speeds!
I know that I probably should have added better backgrounds details in order to let the audience better understand where we are. I also know that characters should have been designed better, but I'm a beginner.

I will work hard to improve myself!

By the way isn't it funny?! :)

Thank you all,

Valeria

Life Drawings!

Hi guys!

I almost forgot to upload some of my life drawings... Let's start saying that it was the first time for me and I need to work hard on prospective and proportions, I should improve myself in the light drawing too, for example by adding more facial details.

I have to become quicker, as I’m a bit too slow and that doesn’t allow me to add details in drawings in general (like in the motion drawing, which is .. er.. really simple).

Anyway it wasn't that bad for being my first life drawing lesson ever.

Thank you everyone!
