Life Drawings!

Hi Guys!

I'm catching up, as you see!

These are my life drawings from last week, we didn't have any model avaible so we had a different session where we focused more on getting the poses right than good quality drawings... I wasn't feeling very well that day so I wasn't paying as much attention as I should have, even if the quality wasn't a priority I should have done better...

Life Drawings with Martin Morris!

Hi Guys!

I'm so sorry I haven't been publishing that much in the past weeks, I'm doing a lot of animation for the current third years projects, sadly most of it I can't show to you as I'm doing some "key moments of the movies", but I'll suggest you get the chance to watch them!

These were works I produced in a life drawing session with Martin Morris. It was very interesting and it forced us to look harder at things like the model as well as what is next to it. The key point wasn't the quality of the drawing, but the understanding behind it.

Would love to have another inspiring session like that!

Thank you,

Valeria

Fusion Reactor!

Hi Guys!

Do you remember my ECO project? No? Let me refresh this memory for you, we have been asked to produce a video about those technologies that may help save the environment. My group came up with an idea of a youtube channel that with a robot as a conductor explains "the wonders of future technology" (a very close future).

Here you have some early designs models and a playblast test of my model of the fusion reactor that is going to be part of the movie!

Early model of the reactor (this design is not going to make it into the movie)

Here you have the playblast (of course is a test, so the camera movement is going to be better timed and etc.)

PS. sorry for the very low quality video

Thank you,

Valeria

Character Designs!

Hi Guys!

Here you have a possible character design for my pre-production pitch bible (that might as well end up be my third-year production).

These are some possible outfits fo the boy (who's inspired by my brother), seems to work, I just need to give him more... personality.

I'm currently, working on the girl as well, will send updates!

Thank you,

Life Drawings!

Hi Guys!

Here you have my life drawings from today!

Much, much better since last week, right? I still need to work on the perspective of the body, but I'm definetly pleased with the improvement I can see.

This time we did different parts of the same pose with some breaks in between, and I really enjoyed it.

Finally, a portrait that looks like the model! Yey!

Life Drawings!

Hi Guys!

Here you have my life drawings from last week (my bad, I almost forgot they existed)!

That was an unusual session as the model dropped out just before it so we ended up drawing one of our lecturers Ann, some still life and in the end portraying our coursemates portraying us.

Not very satisfaction with this session as I see some of those drawings as a step back on my progress... I wasn't very focused as you can see from the quality of this pieces...
