Life Drawing!

Hi Guys!

Here you have my life drawings from last week, as you might have noticed we had the same model that kept moving all the previous sessions we had and of course he did move again.

I am struggling with portraits a lot, I feel really challenged and I hope I will get much better than that, even if I think it is really hard to get proportions right when the model is constantly changing the position so I'll try to practice on my own time on someone else to improve this skill as I do really need to.

Anyway, I am glad to see my poses drawings are nicer than my firsts life drawing sessions.

Pick'N'Mix Project!

Hi Guys!

As promised here you have something different from life drawing!

At the beginning of this project we have been asked to pick three random cards one for the main character of our story (I had Pilgrim), on for the setting (I had 1920's garden party) and one for the type of show (I had Pre-school series), we already had the art style card (I had Pop Art).

You can tell that was a challange for our creativity.

Anyway we have been asked to produce a short animatic for our production in order to "sell it" to the audience, and here you have mine.

I know that is not really professional maybe, the characters sliding, the drawings out of proportions and the rough sound are the proof but we really need to rush this project, also our research is not ended yet as for example I really need to come out with the actual final character designs for the production bible we will put together later on.

Thank you,

Valeria

Life drawing!

Hi Guys!

Here you have my life drawings from last week, in that lecture we mainly focused on portraits as you can see.

Unluckily the model was really tired so it was really hard for him to stand still for the time required... anyway I'm not using this as an excuse for the quality of my drawings as I really need to work more on that, in fact, that was our first go with faces in the proper way.

Very first go with portraying 20 minutes pose

Sketchy 5 minutes poses (just to get the proportions idea)

After the sketchy poses more detailed ones 10 minutes

Last portrait 20 minutes (similar to the very first pose)

Life Drawing!

Hi Guys,

Here you have my last life drawing session productions.

I know it looks like life drawing is all I'm doing right now, but I'm currently working on some research modules  and on an 11 second club challenge and I will upload something about it soon.

Anyway I am still struggling with proportions if I'm not using a needle as a guide, but still I am improving since last year. As I always say it is a long way to go, but I'll do my best to make it.

Life Drawing!

Hi Guys,

Here you have my life drawings from last week.

Still need to practice a lot on this skill but I can see improvement and that is really encouraging.

This session has been particularly hard as the model fell asleep many times changing his pose.
